Advanced / Files / Directory Privacy / Select the target direction / Edit / Passport protect this direction

After setting, the system will put the username and password in

File Manager / .htpasswds / protected directory / passwd

Error:

After inputing directory username and password, you get 500 error.

Solution:

Check error log to find reason

Advanced / Metrics Errors /

The reason is cannot open the password file, so we are going to check the file permission.

Locate the file / right click / change permissions
